Overview

The CAS RBC was launched in 2024 as part of the University's continuing education programme and is organised by the Centre for Human Rights (UZHR) of the University of Zurich. The programme aims to support professionals and practitioners who seek to enhance their skills in the dynamic field of responsible business conduct, including corporate sustainability, ESG, as well as business and human rights.

With a practical approach emphasising the crucial process of risk-based due diligence and delving into key RBC topics such as human rights, bribery and corruption, environmental sustainability, labour, and many more, the CAS RBC provides participants with the necessary tools to align business practices with the international regulatory standards. The key international concept of RBC which is embedded in the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct (OECD Guidelines) and in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP), will constitute the basis of this course.

Distinguished experts with diverse backgrounds, coming from academia, business, government bodies, and civil society, share their knowledge and provide valuable insights and guidance to the participants.
