What aspects of the CAS RBC course were most engaging or valuable, and how did they contribute to your understanding of the subject?

"The opportunity to engage with various experts and receive firsthand, real-world insights was highly valuable. Their unique perspectives and practical experiences helped my understanding of the subject, making it less theoretical and more applicable to real-life scenarios."

How did the structure and content of the course support your learning and professional development? Were there any particular modules or topics that stood out to you?

"I appreciated the well-balanced combination of lectures, discussions, and practical tasks. In fact, the online sessions were so captivating that I didn't mind participating on a Saturday afternoon. I found the first part of the course particularly helpful. It provided a solid foundation in RBC, deepened my understanding and equipped me to better handle new challenges by allowing me to place them within a broader context."

Maryna Kupchuk - Deputy Head of International Investment Cooperation Division, NCP Secretariat, Ministry of Economy, Ukraine

In what ways did the course enhance your knowledge or skills, and how have you applied what you learned in your current role? What would you say to someone considering enrolling in this course?

"The course significantly deepened my understanding of European legislation in the RBC field, particularly in RBC Due Diligence. In Ukraine, these standards are still in the early stages of implementation. However, the country's aspiration to join the European Union and its commitment to European values have made it essential to accelerate efforts in this area. Participation in this course helped me identify key priorities and the necessary steps to advance this work.

I have applied the knowledge gained in several ways: preparing recommendations for businesses on implementing RBC standards, contributing to the development of a governmental action plan for incorporating RBC into national policy, and creating training courses to raise awareness among various stakeholder groups.

For anyone considering enrolling in this course, I would highly recommend it. It offers a profound immersion into the subject of RBC, providing the opportunity to learn from top experts, acquire invaluable new knowledge, or expand on existing knowledge. You will also develop practical skills, such as crafting Due Diligence strategies, and receive expert feedback on how to improve them. Additionally, the course fosters connections with like-minded professionals, enabling the exchange of ideas and experiences that will be valuable long after the course ends."

"I'm very fortunate to have graduated from the 2024 CAS in RBC. You're one step away to benefit from the University of Zurich's high level of teaching in a platform that is 100% online.

The CAS offers us the best professionals in the world, both from academia and the global marketplace. Expect to improve your knowledge in topics such as supply chain, reporting, accountability, ethics, legal, anti-corruption, stakeholder management, and many others.

Two other valuable aspects of this program are the networking opportunities with our colleagues and lecturers as well as the development of our individual case study oriented by one of the distinguished supervisors. My case study, for instance, was designed to be directly applied to my job at Global Affairs Canada, GAC.

I do recommend this unique program to those interested in specializing in integrating human rights aspects into business strategies taking into consideration sustainability and profit. Yes, you'll learn during the CAS in RBC that this is possible!"

"It was great to have such high-level speakers from the UN working group, the Swiss NCP, as well as practitioners from businesses. This meant that we got the views of relevant actors in the field of RBC. It was insightful to understand how the topic is addressed on an international and national level and how businesses embed RBC in their organisations."

In what ways did the course enhance your knowledge or skills, and how have you applied what you learned in your current role? What would you say to someone considering enrolling in this course?

"The course definitely enhanced my theoretical knowledge of the relevant normative RBC frameworks, how they came about and how they are now influencing EU and other national regulations.
